The county directory is organized by local jurisdiction. The facility directory is organized by facility name. Use the county list when the arrest county is known, and use the facility list when a jail, house of correction, state prison, BOP institution, ICE facility, lockup, prerelease program, or treatment facility name is known. The two directories solve different search problems.
The statewide facility directory includes covered local facilities and uncovered DOC gap rows from the Massachusetts research.
